The First Tee of Charlottesville is dedicated to introducing the game of golf to ALL young people ages 5-17. It is our mission to impact the lives of the youth in Charlottesville, Albemarle, and surrounding counties by making available educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf, and providing golf facilities with practice and playing opportunities.

Our program uses a combination of life and golf skills to help strengthen these values in our youth. In addition to The First Tee Nine Core Values, the participants are given the opportunity to develop communication skills, learn to overcome obstacles, begin setting and achieving goals, understanding wellness of nutrition, while having fun playing golf. While each facility of The First Tee is unique, the goal remains the same – to impact the lives of youth in our communities and to help provide them with valuable skills for life.

Saturdays: April 17 - May 22
